It’s a hurricane!

Hope all is well and safe.

I know we have all prepared for the hurricane that is now upon us. Bodywork and newsletters about bodywork are the last thing on our minds(mine included).

But things here at Back in Balance are ever growing and changing. I will be moving into a new office this week for my Ormond folks that is on 533 N Nova Road Suite 216. My hours will be updated on my website as well.

I look forward to seeing you all soon. I remember last year yard work took a while and my back was feeling it. I hope this storm misses us, but I will be here if I am needed.

Had some great successes this month including:

  • A hip surgery client that is improving after one session

  • A chronic migraine client can sleep through the night

  • Helping a marathon runner who had Plantar Fasciitis that is now resolved train for a marathon

  • Stroke client is feeling more range of motion and has a better quality of life

See you all soon. And stay safe my friends and remember that pain is not a lifestyle!!

Cheers,

Derrick Brantley RAPID Neurofascial Reset Specialist

Newsletter August 2019

Happy August!

This year is flying on by this month at Back In Balance Bodywork.

I had an amazing seminar at Fitness One Flagler Beach with over 40 people attending to learn about RAPID. 12 people booked appointments before I even left. WOW!

I’ve been busy at both of my offices and look forward to getting even busier.

Also had some great successes this month including:

Competing runners training for the Chicago Marathon getting rid of plantar fasciitis as well as operating at 100 percent.

Clint with chronic migraines since he was 12 is doing much better.

Frozen shoulder case is almost at full resolution.

And much more….

I look forward to the fall busy season when all your snowbird friends and relatives come down and bring their pain with them. They make amazing clients since there are so few people at the moment doing RAPID. That is going to change soon with all the word of mouth testimonials that I and other therapists have been getting. We can’t do this without you.

See you all next month and remember my friends that pain is not a lifestyle!

July 2nd 2019,

Greetings to all this very hot summer!

I am so excited for what is in store for Back in Balance Bodywork. We are certainly growing and getting busier every week. I have just completed another round of RAPID training in Nashville and look forward to learning more. The more I learn, the more I can help my clients.

I also have some video testimonials on the way as well as a new video with yours truly. My biggest goal is to educate my future clients on what RAPID is all about. You all have been amazing at helping me with that so let's keep it going!

Just some fun successes for this month:

Saw my Post Polio Syndrome client for the first time in a month and has been feeling great.

Fibromyalgia and Juvenile Arthritis client who was prescribed Morphine for pain is feeling better.

Athlete who was thrown off her horse can still ride.

Client with pain all throughout the body from multiple injuries and abdominal surgeries is enjoying life again.

Long time client with new MS diagnosis feels confident that she has me on her therapy team.

It has been my pleasure to help all of these people. I truly enjoy what I do. It enlivens me with purpose to change the world. Let’s do it together.

Newsletter June 2019

Welcome to the next edition of the newsletter at Back in Balance Bodywork. It’s been a great month here at the office. I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients with Post-Polio Syndrome, frozen shoulder, stroke, migraines, and a whole list of other things. I am revisiting the course this month for a total of 6 days of hands on training! I am even going to see my Canadian friends in Toronto.

The testimonials are coming in. 40 year-old case of whiplash is now resolved, my stroke patient mentioned above is living better with more range of motion, migraines are getting easier to fix, and much more. There are almost no limits to what RAPID Therapy can help with.

Now what is RAPID Therapy. RAPID Neurofasical Reset is a new soft tissue technique designed to alleviate soft tissue restrictions throughout the body. The highly trained therapist using pressure and movement will engage the nervous system to shut down pain signals being sent to the brain. I know it’s that simple.

Treatment is done over loose, comfortable clothing. Sessions tend to last from 30 to 45 minutes. And issues that bring the client in are dramatically reduced.

What is there to expect after treatment? Sometimes after therapy clients can feel a bit sore. Usually that soreness will last no more than a day or two. If it persists longer, the therapist will lighten the tension on the tissue.

Call us today and find out how you can get out of pain!

See you next month and remember my friends pain is not a lifestyle.

Newsletter April 2019

Welcome to the 1st Edition of the Back in Balance Bodywork Newsletter.

I will be sending these newsletters out to all our patients to help keep you up to date on what’s going on at Back in Balance Bodywork. Please feel free to share this newsletter with anyone you think may benefit from this type of treatment.

I wanted to take a few moments to help give you a brief explanation of RAPID Neurofascial Reset.

What is RAPID Neurofascial Reset? How can it help you? Do you live in pain? Has your life become debilitating? Has pain become your lifestyle? Life doesn’t have to be like this, this can be your solution.

RAPID Neurofascial Reset or RAPID Therapy is a soft tissue mobilization technique designed to help calm hypersensitivity in the nervous system that causes pain. In our bodies we have receptors that are sensitive to pressure and vibration. These at times can be aggravated and send pain signals to the brain. RAPID simply shuts these off. As a result, the client reports increased range of motion, more circulation, and most importantly little to no pain.

The technique in its application is quite simple, It is done over clothes, preferably loose comfortable clothing. The therapist will will shorten the tissue to be treated, take tension, then release the adhesion(restriction).

Now adhesions are anything in the body that can feel “stuck,” EX. where the normal slide and glide is no longer there. Injuries, bad posture, sedentary lifestyles, and overuse can be some of the causes. Where there is a thickening of the area or pain is a place to treat. RAPID will allow all of this to dissipate.

Rapid sessions need to be a little deeper than what many people are used to. This is because these receptors respond to a higher threshold. The off switch has to be reached high on the wall. The therapist will work within the client’s limits, but the more they can take the more they will benefit. Bruising is a rare occurrence.

No ordinary therapist can perform RAPID. Not only do Rapid Therapists go through their licensed schooling, but RAPID is a 6 day long intensive hands on workshop. There is additional reading concerning rapid not to mention the general reading of anatomy and physiology.

Conditions such as frozen shoulder, whiplash, plantar fasciitis, migraines, and sciatica are only a few conditions that can be resolved RAPID Therapy.

The treatment times take generally 30 to 45 minutes. And prices for each session are under 100 dollars. Most people feel life changing results between 3 to 10 sessions. I aim to eliminate the NEED, but instead create a WANT for my clients to return.

Remember my friends, pain is not a lifestyle! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
